You like to being a senior developer in a team of experienced and talented developers to engineer a complex competence management system to cater the demanding needs of NMBS-SNCB! Who would like to deal with many technical and non-technical stakeholder in a fast pace environment? Then becoming our next Senior Developer might be your thing!

 

As NMBS- SNCB’s IT company, YPTO is part of the Belgian Railway family making sure that the Belgian railways continue to move forward and that train passengers can travel in a modern and sustainable way.

The recently approved NMBS-SNCB « Rail Vision 2040 » has the ambitious goal to make sure that more people, companies & organisations choose the train as their preferred mobility tool. Not to forget, after all, rail being the most climate-friendly mode of public transport compared to other modes of public transport today.

Next to that, in a world of modern and sustainable mobility, new services and applications using digital technology are being implemented. Leading to increased and better information and communication to rail passengers and rail crew. Setting up diverse channels for purchasing tickets, a better monitoring of assets and further increase automating operational processes. Ultimately improving efficiency and service offering.

An ambitious goal that we’re building and realizing: further digitalizing SNCB – NMBS, offering innovative solutions and enabling flexible services with a key focus on the end user.

About the role:

As an M365 developer/scripter in the M365 Services team

  • You will be focused on optimizing applications such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner through Power Automate workflows, Azure Functions or SPFx webparts

  • You will develop M365 Tenant reports through PowerShell libraries and MS Graph API

  • You will perform estimations, planning, and deliverables in a project context

  • You will perform content migrations to M365 or within M365 with 3rd party tools

  • You will perform M365 Tenant configurations and policy implementations via 3rd party tools

Vereisten

    • Minimum 10+ years of development experience in Microsoft technologies, particularly in Microsoft .NET Core Web API

    • Expert level experience in C# is a MUST HAVE

    • Solid demonstrable experience of REST APIs designing and implmentation

    • Very handy with API versioning management

    • Strong working experience in MS SQL Server 2022+, Entity framework core and LINQ

    • Must be very handy with GIT commands, understaning of GitFlow is a must have

    • Working knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps

    • Solid understating of CI/CD pipelines and the philosophy behind of continous integration and delivery

    • Visual Studio 2022, Visual Studio Code

    • Experience in Public Transport Sector is big plus

     

    Soft skills

    • Professional knowledge of English and fluent user of one of the local language French or Dutch

    • You review the code of other developers with the sense of contribution instead of inspection

    • You are able to lead and coach junior developers with different level of experience  

    • You’re a team player and you like working with others

    • Strong listening & communication skills

    • Analytical thinking

    • Pragmatic & hands-on

    • Can-do attitude
