Ypto is seeking motivated Young Graduates eager to bridge the gap between IT developments and business user acceptance.

You will be part of our Solution Delivery Customer Experience Solutions (CES) department, responsible for systems supporting customer services, passenger information, stations and building facilities.

More specifically, we are looking for an IT Tester who is responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of software applications for new releases and/or updates of various passenger information systems in our different publication channels (trains, stations, online).

Responsibilities:

The role involves designing and executing test cases, automating test scripts and working closely with developers, business analysts, functional analyst and project managers.

  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using testing tools (X-ray/Jira).

  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

  • Automate test cases using appropriate frameworks and tools.

  • Provide detailed test reports and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Job requirements

  • A completed Master's degree in a relevant field such as:

    • Engineering

    • Economics

    • Commercial Sciences

    • Finance

    • IT/Technology

  • Passion for technology.

  • Eagerness to learn and ambition.

  • Quick adaptability to new concepts.

  • International mindset.

  • Strong team player with the motto "Together everyone achieves more”.

Being able to work from the office at least 2 and on demand 5 days/week

Ideal Required Skills :

  • IT skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) and Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Experience with testing related tools like X-Ray, Playwright, ReadyAPI

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, and the ability to understand the other language. English proficiency is also required.
